Faux Wood Grain - in progress

In this photo a base paint has been applied and the first graining layer. Later the wood grain was toned to quiet the grain for a softer, more subtle look.

Wood Graining in Progress

Carl working over head on the first layer of grain. This bead board ceiling is real wood, but had been painted white by previous homeowners. We base coated the ceiling a light neutral tan and then apply two layers of wood graining and a final toning coat. Photo here shows work in progress.
